Pompeii 3D is a very entertaining totally vacuous film. It's a sword and sandal disaster movie complete with evil royalty and heroic slaves. The 3D effects are stupendous, the audio is great. If you're ready to shut your brain off and not expect any history lessons, you should enjoy this film.

Was a great gift for a lover of Greek and Roman mythology

Good movie but what did it for me was watching it in 3D

I enjoyed the movie and all of it's acting and scenes since I am a fan of old Roman, Greek & Egyptian movies. Reasonably interesting and good movie scenes. I also got the movie in 3D but haven't watched it yet. I anticipate many of the action scenes to be great in 3D.

Well done action drama about Pompeii's destruction.

My wife and I like to add to our 3D bluray collection as much as possible, and when this title was available for under $5 we couldn't pass it up. It isn't a great movie and we may not watch it again, but for the price we have no regrets on adding it to our 3D library.

This movie I thought was really good but I know it didn't do so well in the theaters but I was never one to follow the crowds. Also if you are a Kit Harington fan you will love the movie.

From a narrative point of view, this is an uninspired hodgepodge that simply recycles every cliché and convention of the genre (including an indestructible villain), being only worth it for the fun and great-looking catastrophe, the nice score and Kit Harington's spectacular abs.

Pompeii was good. I was disappointed in the way they ended it.

Great movie, with a similar story line to that of Gladiator. This movie sets itself apart from the rest using historical accuracies along with a love story combined with political agendas revenge and justice.
