My phone can't really fall down anymore. I like the look of the pop socket too. After placing it wrong, i was even able to reuse it after taking it off!

You can place it anywhere you want and it makes holding your phone so much easier, especially if you have arthritis or just joint pain in general on your hands.

As far as holding it in mid air, some people find it useful, I dont. Phone is a little more bulky in my pocket now though.
