It helps keep a grip on that slippery phone that ends up on the ground with a cracked screen. I also enjoy being able to prop it on the side to view video

She got it to stick pretty well on the back of her phone over the OtterBox case. It also appears to be a pretty good stand for her phone. She usually grabs that phone by the PopSocket, and so far she has yet to drop her phone.
