The socket pops and it has a skull on it. Basically if you look at the picture but imagine it as an item that looks exactly the same but you can stick it on the back of your phone.. thats what it is. Does exactly what you would think it would do. Hope this helps

When placed in the center back of my iPhone 6 Plus it worked fine as a stand, but if I moved it down a little towards the bottom half (a great spot to use it for texting), then the phone fell over easily. Moving it around meant prying, and I mean PRYING, it off the phone/case and sticking it somewhere else. I thought it somehow suctioned on or had a specific type of mechanism that attached and detached with ease, but that's not the case. I'd recommend it for people with the standard iPhone or other phones, but not the Plus or larger models.

PopSocket brand is by far uses the best adhesive that lasts... and you can wash and reuse when they start to breakdown.
