Mine last about four months before the flanges start breaking off. If you don't care about the look, buy the metal (about $4-5 more) and go for the durability. Otherwise, the usefulness is great and I love having them on my phone.

Great gadget for my wifes phone

It's great for holding the phone; however, it's not that great for an angled stand as described by the product description. All in all she really likes it and uses it often.

Durability is good I guess, she usually goes through 1 of them a year. And she loves the style of this because is “goes with her case”

I did put it on and have found myself using it as a grip from time to time and like it. As a stand for viewing it is okay but I prefer more of an upright angle. Overall this is a good product that I could see being very useful for many.
