It has helped in holding the phone for periods less likely to drop the phone. It give more control while holding. Also it is nice tip use when trying to watch something and have the phone sit up. The only downfall is that it does make the phone bulkier and once you attach you cannnot remove without breaking it

I bought one because there was a sale, if you buy 3 accesories, get a percentage off and I already had 2 accesories. I use it all the time now. The only thing that I don't like is that I can't take it off and use it on different cases. And that I have to get a different mount for my car, but they have special ones to go with the pop sockets. Not a big deal though. I like these.
