Where is the sticky

I bought this to replace a cheaper brand I had used prior and was severely disappointed. When I rested my phone in the car pop socket dock it kept seerating from my phone and dropping it. The pop socket did not hold whene ever I put it back on and tried once more. I don’t know why this happened but I’ve never had this problem before. Just wasn’t sticky enough.
