It is a pop socket, holds to the kids phone well. She even moved it to a new device and its still sticky enough to re-attach. But that may be the last move it can handle.

These are great especially when you purchase them with them universally sized mount. They come in plain colors and cool designs for the kids.

They are a perfect thing if you are big into selfies. Since you can hold it a lot better. But they are a pain to take off. They also leave a ring on your case
