It's a pop socket, not much to describe. Easily sticks to the phone case with no trouble.

Looks great with black phone case. Pop socket is more ergonomic so my thumb doesn't hurt.

When I first attached this thing to the back of my phone case I liked it. The more I use it the easier it gets to pop open. Other than that it's nifty little piece.

I purchased this to use my Garmin GPS unit in my car. It is too flimsy for the weight of the GPS, though it is not a large display. Might work for cell phones but didn't help me. I gave it away to a neighbor.
