An immutable Law Of Nature is that my wife will drop her phone. It has been proven time after time. Her manicurist had a finger grip on her phone, and after my wife recently acquired an iPhone, it became a required purchase. It provides an extra measure of security along with the Otterbox case. It probably is useful for storage of earbud cords, but many earbuds are wireless now. But it performs exactly as advertised -- she's not dropping her phone anymore.

Super convenient but my old one did start coming apart after a while.. can use to prop your phone on tables and easier to hold your phone with it!
