Popped off a few months after buying but i guess thats normal for these pop sockets

I’ve had this pop socket for about 3 months and haven’t taken it off since I bought it, so it goes through a lot of wear and tear (getting tossed around, laid on multiple surfaces, getting put in my back pocket, etc) and I’ve noticed quite a few sparkles have fallen off. It had a ton of sparkles when I first bought it and I didn’t think they’d come off anytime soon. I’ve never actually seen them fall off or see them on the surfaces the phone has been laid on, but they’re obviously coming off. I’ve attached a pic of the pop socket 3 months after use. I love the color, but just doesn’t stand up to the rest of time for too long.

It says you can remove it to adjust it but I cannot either its because I put it on a case inside of my class back, but its a normal pop socket, but removable the pop part that is, and it says wireless charging compatible but I haven't tested that.

Its marked up higher than it should be. They don't last long. They break easily.

Kinda flisy, dont feel secure, my hand and fingers are too big for it like its a kids size, it did include 3 months of apple nees music and tv so worth the 5 dollar clearance price

I juss totally love my socket!!!! I’ve had them on other phone cases!! I had a lot of them break on me!! So I try to be careful with the ones I have now!! I use to super glue them and yes that would work too!! So now I have one extra one juss Incase the one on my phone case breaks!

the carbon fiber-ish look is fine and matches with my phone and case but the adhesive to apply the socket is lacking. it initially sticks, then after a few minutes just releases. Also, the extension of the popout is ok but it can't do well as a stand, it collapses under just 1/2 the phone's weight and then you don't have a stand. It's difficult to judge where to place the socket, as too low and your landscape suffers, center it and your portrait views will suffer. Also, I have man-hands and it's not a good or secure fit under the popout for me, plus the height of the collapsed socket on the back of the phone is poor aesthetically.

My son wanted this for his hand me down I Phone 6 plus. The phone was in excellent condition so we also purchased an Otter Box Defender case. The PopSocket adhered well to the case but when you pull the socket out to grasp it it allows air to enter the Otter Box case that you have to chase out. It also is bulky and makes it almost impossible to put your phone in your pocket. One other issue is that you can't lay your phone flat anymore and this makes using some features difficult such as your calculator. If you don't pocket your phone and wish to have a better way to hold your phone this is great but it creates issues for many practical phone uses.

I bought this with all my hopes and dreams ready for the solution to all of my phone problems -- something to make my phone easier to hold while I'm multi-tasking (just kidding -- I mean taking a selfie), and cheap phone holder that I could put virtually anywhere -- in the car, on the bed post, on the side table next to the couch, etc. It was brilliant! The popper wasn't too big that it caused too much bulk on the back of my phone, so sliding it in my pocket didn't cause a problem. The u-shaped holders were great (and cheap). I have one in my car, on the bedpost (who wants to deal with knocking the phone into the floor in the middle of the night--this thing keeps it tight), on the side table next to the couch (so useful - no more condensation water getting on my phone), even one at work on my computer monitor!!. Here's the problem.....the popper keeps coming off the back of my phone. YUP....I cleaned my phone before I put it on....I used alcohol like it said. YUP....I waited for it to dry....YUP...I did all the things like directed....So....that's a fail. But here's the saving grace...my husband bought one too. His phone is exactly like mine (well, his has a few more scratches). He didn't clean his. He didn't follow directions. His popper is still on. Mines in the trash. YES...I'm going to buy another one. But I'm waiting on my phone to get a little handy first. LOL

I purchased this because I purchased a bigger phone and I felt like I was going to drop it. Sometimes I use it sometimes I don’t. It does make the phone thicker which kind is sucks. It doesn’t work well as a stand. However, when your texting and stuff it does make it easier. My phone does feel more secure in my hand when using it.

I love Popsockets but this one actually broke not long after purchase. First time this happens, could've just been random. I overall recommend them regardless.

This works great once you get it to stick. It seems like when I first installed it if the phone got hot the adhesive would loosen and it would slide on the back of the phone or come off. Clean the area really really good stick it on and as per instructions try not to use your phone for hours. After that seems to work fine.

Im happy with it for the most part. The only reason i took off two stars is because while i was waiting for it to dry/be ready for use i noticed that the adhesive was discolored/dirty around the edges

I found myself needing this product as i need to hold my phone while avoding my hand becoming stiff. This product is a great solution to that, however after a while the adhesive stops sticking, which then in turn makes you want to buy another one.

I like it, but wish the main parts were not white. Gets dirty quickly and although you can clean it, you probably won't as often as it needs. Can't be used as a kickstand if you have a case that HAS a kickstand because you have to set it off center or higher... but if I put it higher then i struggle teaching it while typing. I blame the phone size for this one- my ideal phone size is an iPhone 5- I have the 7... nobody can reach across the screen with one hand already so if you get a pop socket, you'll likely want it off center to fit your fingers so you can easily maneuver with one hand. While I like it so far, I don't think it'll last for me. Not only does the off center placement affect the standing part, but then if you attach it to the dash, it spins upside down then- so, bottom line, place it in the very center of your phone and hope you can adapt to the change in your grip.

I ended up having to super glue the pop socket to my phone case because it wouldn't stay put. Normally not the case with other pop sockets I've used so maybe I just got a faulty one.

Not the best designed product out there. It doesn't untwist as it is supposed to, it's almost impossible to get apart like the guy demonstrated to me, I nearly ripped it off of the back of my camera case just twisting and pulling it as the directions tell me to, and is would not come apart. Stands horizontally but not vertically.

I have several popsockets I purchased from Best Buy. They all work great except this one. I think I got a dud. It will not stick to any of my phone cases and after a couple minutes, it peels off. I tried the water trick and that didn't help at all. All the other popsockets I've used work awesome though.

Best Buy was great because the prices were still average and they had a lot of style options. The actual PopSocket has been a disappointment though. I wasn’t sure where I wanted to put it but read that it’s easy to take off and move without losing adhesive properties. This is not true, I chose poor placement and have tried 6-7 different times to remove and move but haven’t been successful. The PopSocket also doesn’t support the weight of my iPhone 8 the greatest, it collapses in. Having it on the back of my phone case also makes it difficult, to use my wireless charger, not impossible though. It has helped in taking selfies and texting though.

There’s not much to say. It does work great for holding my iPhone Pro Max but tends to come off after holding it for extended periods of time. Not sure if it’s the weight of the phone or the adhesive warming up to much and loosing it’s grip.
