Doesn’t adhere

My wife needed a new one, so I got her this, and it wouldn’t stay attached to her phone case. In fairness, her case was rubbed, but a free pop socket that she got from school lasted months, this one lasted minutes. If it had thicker glue, like the free one she had, it would have worked.
