My original purpuse was to hold my phone up when recording. However I find I drop my phone less and use it to hold my phone in general. Great product from someone smarter than me!!!

excellent accessory!

Easy to remove/reposition, like that they come in different colors/patterns.

It helps me use the phone safely on the subway, because it provides a very steady grip so you can hold phone and scroll with the same hand.
