I have almost dropped my phone several times and caught it by the pop socket. Plus I love to play with the pop socket by expanding and collapsing it.

However, I've been pleasantly surprised with it. Useful, handy, and so far holding up well. For 8 bucks, not a bad little addition.

With it you can switch hand positions to relieve stress. It also can be used as a phone stand by itself.

It's handy to grab when the phone is facing down. It does cause the phone to not lay flat, but I already have another adapter on the back of my case, so it didn't bother me.
