Sat in a dentist chair yesterday for two hours and between drilling... I was able to lift my phone up above my head to check messages, securely... using the popup device. Cool. For ten bucks, I'd say everyone should at least try it.

The pop-socket makes holding the phone during selfies much easier! I can also use it as a stand when watching videos and listening to music. Great accessory!
