Always the last to try after seeing everyone else use them. I am in the learning states, but see that they help hold the phone for the selfies. Again, I am learning. But I am very happy with the sparkly foil confetti silver one and I am sure I will be better using after the grandkids come visit and teach me the finer details! LOL

Also, the extension of the popout is ok but it can't do well as a stand, it collapses under just 1/2 the phone's weight and then you don't have a stand. It's difficult to judge where to place the socket, as too low and your landscape suffers, center it and your portrait views will suffer. Also, I have man-hands and it's not a good or secure fit under the popout for me, plus the height of the collapsed socket on the back of the phone is poor aesthetically.
