It helps me to hold my phone more comfortably and to stand phone up to play games or browse photos etc. Also I use it to hook to waistband when I have no pockets. Simply pull it out and slip phone into inside of waist band, the disc catches on the waistband holding it securely

Everyone had one..

I did want to get a case that had a kickstand so I could watch videos during break and lunch at work. So I decided to try one of these and couldn't be much happier. It does what I want and makes the phone easier to hold at time. I glad I took the chance.

Works great as an extra grip to prevent dropping or as a stand to hold up my phone when watching videos. I rarely carry wired headphones but you can wrap them around the popsocket to prevent losing them. The packaging also "suggest" having 2 on your phone for more options. Although I personally believe you would only really need 1 to get the job done.
