My wireless charging pad works through the pop socket. It has helped me from dropping my phone on many occasions.

It’s just okay...

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The socket suctions well to the phone however, the decorative cover pops off frequently and because the socket is soft rubber, without the decorative cover, the rubber just squishes together if you try to hold without, making it nearly impossible to hold the phone at that point. Fortunately, I haven’t lost the cover but if the cover pops off and you don’t see where it lands, this will become trash. With the cover on, it serves its purpose well! Just needs reinforcement for the cover to stay on.

I had hopes that with the cost it would be more durable. also it sucks because you can't have it on your case and use a wireless charger.

You can install on your phone case so you can keep your phone protected. Also, install lower than center so that you can hold your phone close to the keyboard when typing.

Faulty adhesive

I’ve never had any issues with adhesion until this one. It was really gummy and didn’t stick properly to my case so I tried to reapply it and it left black gunk all over the phone case where it had touched and was just a gummy mess. Unable to apply it

Does not last long

Not good on silicone case

Posted .Thank you for your review! We are sorry that your PopGrip did not stick well to your silicone case, and for the inconvenience, this may have caused you. Please note: PopSockets bases are engineered to be super sticky and most compatible with smooth, flat surfaces. PopSockets bases will not stick well to silicone, highly textured, and many soft cases on the market. They will not adhere well to iPhone models 11 and up and the Samsung Z3 flip phone models without a suitable case.
Not recommended to stick to leather or fabric/textile cases. Our super sticky gel may damage leather cases when trying to reposition or remove the base.
The gel might not stick well if glued to iPhones without a suitable case.
Not Sticking: If your PopSockets product is no longer sticking, follow the steps below to reactivate the adhesive gel on your PopSockets product:
Step 1: Give your PopSockets gel a quick rinse.
Step 2: Let it air dry for 10 minutes. Do not leave it out any longer, this will cause the adhesive gel to dry out entirely.
Step 3: Stick your PopSockets product back onto your phone case, and let it sit for a few hours before engaging it again. This will ensure a stronghold.
