It is okay for what it is for

Worked good while it worked

Less than 24 hours after having it, the person, who is not strong, tore it off the phone and ruined the double-backed tape. I’m not going to replace it because the tape is less than reliable and I didn’t want the person to damage the phone.

Fell apart quickly

Posted .Thank you for your review, Sulivan! We are sorry to hear that your PopGrip comes off too easy. That should not happen. Please note:PopSockets bases are engineered to be super sticky, and they are most compatible with smooth, flat surfaces. PopSockets bases will not stick as well to silicone, highly textured, and many soft cases on the market. They also will not stick as well to iPhone 11, 12, or 13 models nor the Samsung Z3 flip phone models without a suitable case.
Not recommended to stick to leather cases. Our super sticky gel may damage leather cases when trying to reposition or remove the base.
The gel does not stick "as well" with naked iPhones. While it does stick adequately to a naked base model (and sometimes to Pro/Pro Max depending on circumstances), it will not stick "as well" as if you used a suitable case.
Not Sticking: If your PopSockets product is no longer sticking, follow the steps below to reactivate the adhesive gel on your PopSockets product.
Step 1: Give your PopSockets gel a quick rinse.
Step 2: Let it air dry for 10 minutes. Do not leave it out any longer, this will cause the adhesive gel to dry out entirely.
Step 3: Stick your PopSockets product back onto your phone, and let it sit for a few hours before engaging it again. This will ensure a stronghold.

Cool looking but broke quickly

Does not stick

That should not happen when handled and swapped correctly except you might have purchased a defective item. Please return it to BestBuy or contact us at cs@popsockets.com and we'll be happy to assist. FYI: Just google: How to swap a PopGrip and you'll be able to find a short video clip on swapping. Also, you need to remove the paper between the PopTop and base when unpacking. Swapping does not work with the paper in between for security reasons.
