Useful Handle For The Back Of A Phone.

It makes it easier to hold onto the phone. For large phones, you can use two of these. They flatten out when not in use so you can usually fit it into your pocket. If you want to lay your phone on a table and have it tilted so you can watch videos or movies, this provides a way to do it. You don't have to lean it up against a book or napkin holder.

I love the design and it has never come unhinged or loosened at all. It fit perfectly on the back of my OtterBox and although it makes my iPhone a bit bulkier than I'd like, this is definitely not the manufacturer's fault!
