A sales agent offered it to me as a third accessory to be able to get their 20 percent off deal. It came out to where I got the popsocket for free. I gave it to my son who has an s8 plus wrapped in a otterbox defender case. The popsocket fits perfect. My son is 14 and uses it all the time and he is all boy so I know it takes a beating. Still is working just fine. No complaints.

good gadget, but doesn't work well on some cases

I may use a glue gun to help it stay on. Not the fault of this popsocket but it helps to know in advance.

I went without one for a few days but after using my son's phone which had the pop socket I decided I had to have it as the 8 plus is so much larger & heavier for a small hand than what I had previously. I paired it with the copper popsocket & Karat mother of pearl case by Case-Mate & get alot of compliments on the set & the pop socket works wonderfully.
