I bought the car holder too and it works great. I took off one star because I bought several of these last Xmas but the plastic cap on them breaks within a few months. In order to use the car holder you need that plastic piece. These are great but made very cheaply, quality wise.

For a similar price this was MUCH better than the previous one she had. Props phone up just fine AND folds down nicely! Def would recommend!

I haven't dropped it once since I've bought this and it doubles as a stand when watching a movie on your phone ! They're great for stocking stuffers!!!
