Surprisingly works well!

We were both surprised that it actually stayed on the phone since it said in the instructions "May not stick to some silicone cases" and we use apple's silicone coated cases. Also after placing it on the case she decided she wanted it moved closer to the center (the phone no longer would lay flat) I pulled it off, moved it, and it is still stuck in place to date after a month of use!

A side bonus is that it also serves the same purpose as a fidget spinner. I found opening, closing and turning relaxing.
