Happened on a long road trip and I didn't have a replacement ring, so got this to stick on the NATOmount phone holder. Wanted to get a vent clip version, but Best Buy doesn't sell them, not sure if PopSocket even makes them anymore. This did the trick, still using it in my car right now.

Great HandsFree phone operation

I placed it on the dash of my pickup and when I started using it I decided it was not in a good place. I thought "Oh, No!" But following the instructions--easily written--I was able to disengage it and move it and it has held very well. Great way to maintain "hands free" phone use.

Strong Adhesive Holds Securely

The most challenging part is finding a level surface in your car that will work for you. Make sure the surface is free of dirt or grime. Press on very firmly, let the adhesive form a bond. I think I waited at least 24 hours before I put my phone with the socket pop into it.

Better than previous version

I have the previous version that is flatter and it also works but there isn’t any room underneath the phone for air flow which bothered me. This version keeps the phone away from the dash where it’s attached and it’s also closer to me for easier viewing. I didn’t plan on buying another one but I prefer this one due to it being away from the dash.
