Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this ice machine because the built-in ice maker in my apartment’s freezer rarely actually works and we don’t have the best quality of water either way. I had some questions about how easy to use this would be and it’s pretty easy! You just fill it with water — I used a gallon of bottled water - and it just starts making ice. It seems like it makes ice and then pauses once it gets full. As the ice melts and drips back into the water below it starts the cycle again. My concerns with this machine - it’s been running for about a couple of days and already there’s a loud chirping noise coming from the side of it. I honestly thought there was a cricket somewhere in my apartment as I just moved. I was walking around kicking boxes but the noise was coming from across the room - come to find out its the side of this machine where the fan is. It’s also not the quietest machine when it’s making ice, although over time it may fade into the background. A traditional ice maker (built-in) is much quieter than this. Lastly, the sizes of ice all look the same to me. I have it on small now, but it doesn’t look any different than the medium. A crushed ice option would also be amazing.

The ice is soft like sonic but the only problem is that the ice maker don’t last long and I only used bottled water . I bought three one for me and two other people and we all have the same problem they are.
