This item has smoked, when it was advertised to be smokeless. I would have a problem recommended this item for purchase to both my friends and family.

On 10/3/20, the recipient of this grill told me it was too big for his countertop and asked that I return it; I then found out about the 15 day return policy (who does 30 days these days?). I CHAT with a great guy named Joseph who apologized for their firm policy and explained no guar could be offered to return this item at full cost since I only had 15 days to return it & I am NOT an ELITE customer. I had agreed to just a gift card, but NO. I'll never purchase from them again, a promise.

Power XL Smokless grill.

Used it once and even though there are temperature settings, they do not work properly . When I cooked a steak ,according to the enclosed cookbook it was not rare but overcooked.

I am not comparing it to gas grills, but other electric grills I’ve had. So, the cooking surface is not designed well in my opinion. If you have chicken, or anything with bbq sauce, or a similar cooking additive, the grill chars everything, instead of leaving grill marks. I just don’t like it. Takes way too long to cook and does a poor job at that. Don’t buy this one.

I was hoping for more than what I got. It takes so long to cook food I can cook it faster on the stove or oven. Twice we cooked on it and when we cut into the meat it was not done.

Waste of money

In order to use this product I have to unplug my microwave. It needs an extreme amount of power. Never had this problem with any other appliance. Last time I used my house was filled with smoke. Cleaning is a nighmare! Worst $80. I have ever spent.

Posted .When you add the 1.5 cups of water to the water tray, use the fan and the lid while cooking you shouldn't experience any smoke. The grill and griddle plates, water tray and drip tray all clean up with mild soap and water.
