It's a 50 / 50 chance on who you'll get when you go in the store and if they want to do there job or not. You also have to hope they have a screen saver.

Pleasantly surprised as to what this actually was after we got it

I went to Best Buy Irving and the Geek squad in that location did not know how to manage time! They are charging for $8.00 just to install Zagg shield on my phone. This is the first time I heard this that they are charging to apply Zagg shield on a phone. I have been a costumer and a credit card holder of Bedt Buy but I have never been charge to apply a Zagg shield. I have no choice but to pay coz I want my phone to be protected. The girl at the counter advise me that it will take 30 minutes due to there was a person ahead of me but I do not see a geek squad agent assisting the person on their table. Came back after 45 minutes and Ask the girl w/ eyeglasses if they can apply the zagg. She said I still have to wait because the geek agent is not done w/ the person ahead of me. Came back again after 30 mins still not able to apply the Zagg shield and I informed the short girl w/ eyeglasses that I am not able to wait any longer coz I already waited more than an hour and I want my money back. She stated that I can just keep the receipt for when I come back at the store. I told her that I want the money back and I will just go to another location that has good costumer service. This location specially the Geek squad dept needs to be trained in time management in order for them to have more costumers. He could have easily applied the Zagg shield on my phone well that is if he is really an expert. But anyway, I am now going to the Best Buy in Grapevine. Good costumer service the team member at the cashier is so efficient and knows what he is doing unlike the cashier at the Irving location who just stands there and rings up costumer, she does not even know how to communicate w/ her other team member to inform costumer of exact time of wait. Over at Grapevine, the agent who applied my Zagg shield was so efficient so helpful and he know what he is doing.

The Squad was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.

Installing the shield was easy and looked nice. The charge to install seemed petty as Carriers do it for free. Repairing the phone screen was a nightmare until I found the right technician with people skills. Cost was excessive and wait time was not good.

Great fit a temporary case until a more permanent one can be found

After phone shield was installed there was air bubbles in two corners. Waited till next day and not any better. This is second time we have had a problem with Geek Squad installation. Had new shield installed in phone department.

My screen protector peeled twice after they installed it both times. I ended up returning the screen protector, but they would not give me a refund for this service. If it stayed on, this would have been great, as I always have a hard time installing a screen protector. I understand if it was paying for the labor, but I still feel like I wasted my money because I was never able to benefit from the screen protector. The only reason I would recommend this service is if you have a reliable screen protector that they can install that works.

Great service by Geek Squad, but I was charged and should not have been. I have had my screen protector replaced multiple times over the past few years and never had to pay. It was a part of my original purchase plan.
