While the packaging is certainly nice and I was happy to add this to my collection, this blu ray transfer of the film isn't very good. Many of the scenes make the actors look like wax figures due to the amount of DNR applied. This is simply a repackaging of the last blu ray release so no new update is presented here. Would recommend the 4k version instead which supposedly has a better transfer and no waxy look. This copy does come with a digital code however and the streaming version of the film looks better. So if you want to buy it for the packaging but stream it instead, that would be the best method.

Predator is still a fun time and the 3D adds a new reason to check it out again.
