Love this movie! A lot because of the nostalgia, but if you like Arnold, this is one of his best. The score is classic and looks great in 4k.

This was the first Schwarzenegger movie I ever saw, and if it was released in '87, then I was only six. Thirty two years later, it's still my favorite. And the "Predator" in the original is by far the coolest looking out of the franchise. Must see!

I was at the Pentagon City Best Buy store and saw this Steelbox edition of The Predator movie in Blu-ray. It is a great movie with awesome picture enhanced, if you have surround sound even better.

A classic movie featured in great picture. With the increase in pixels, it makes it so much more enjoyable to watch. I mean, c'mon it's one of Arnie's best movies.

This is a great action movie. Exciting and suspenseful. In this movie, Arnold Schwarzeneggar plays the leader of a special forces unit sent to rescue VIPs captured by Central american rebels. They are then hunted down by an invisible alien (the 'Predator'). The action sequences are fast paced and explosive, making for some exciting viewing. I loved the visual effects for the Predator's stealth field. There's a cool rippling effect so you can almost see him but not quite. The Predator himself looks very cool and very scary, one of the best alien/monster make-ups I've ever seen. The late, great Stan Winston outdid himself with the creature designs in this movie. There's also Schwarzennegar's trademark oneliners ('If it bleeds we can kill it.'). Lots of action, great visuals, some nice oneliners makes for the perfect DVD if you just want to kick back and watch a fun movie. The second disc has lots of extras on the production of the movie. Predator does have violent scenes, but I do not consider it to be sxcessively violent. It does, however, warrant its 'R' rating.

Alright, so the movie is downright awesome! We all know this, I’m simply reviewing the 4K Ultra HD version of Predator. This was a much needed improvement over the blu-ray edition that had been released and that unfortunately accompanies this copy as well. The Blu-ray edition looked as if the characters were fake and just didn’t look right. It was weird looking. The 4K highly improves on this with better looking quality with retaining the grain from a 31 year old film. It’s not supposed to look like it came out this year and I am loving the look! Seeing the small details throughout the forest, the characters faces, predator vision and heck, even the sweat on their face lol. For those fans of an amazing Arnie flick or just a fan of Predator l, snag this up now! The transfer we all definitely deserve!

Some of the reviews of this second Predator Blu ray have not been so good. Some complaints of waxy figures playing the part and digital noise reduction. Before making this purchase I watched my old DVD version and decided to give it a shot. I had avoided the first Blu Ray based on reviews of heavy grain. This movie may not have the gritty grainy look that it did when it first hit the theaters but to me it looks even better. Grain in minimal and colors pop like never before. I recommend the upgrade if you are still holding onto the DVD.

Can't go wrong with the movie, this is a straight classic.

Wow. finally a great transfer. This version is by far the best I've seen. The 3D is a bonus, not eye popping like other 3D movies but very well done. It's the 2d that rocks, the film was cleaned and the mist/ haze is seen the way the director intended. So go out and spend your money on this version and enjoy!

Great movie . Definitely a must own for me. Definitely worth the.price

I have to say first of all the the new transfer looks amazing. I have around 40+ blu rays and this one has to be one of the best ones for clarity, the picture is crystal clear. After hearing all the bad press about the previous version of film having a DVD quality video I was slow to buy this but I'm now very pleased.

I loved to watch this 1987 much excellent movie in time, Predator. Arnold Schwarzenegger was the right man to starring in movie as main character, Dutch with other marine commandos and CIA agent Dillon (played by Carl Weathers) and the film have incredible visual and sound effects on the movie. And I do have Predator 2 [Special Edition] 2-Disc Set DVD starring Danny Glover, Gary Busey, Ruben Blades, María Conchita Alonso and Bill Paxton.

Like other reviewers I hesitated on this one because of the first release and then mixed reviews on the second. The only gripe is the first scene where Carl Weathers and Arnold talk inside a hut. The faces look almost a little animated with real smooth textures giving them almost an anime look. That's the end of criticism though. The rest of this feature is like seeing it for the first time in the movies and it is excellent. Great buy at Best Buy!

Great classic movie and they finally got the quality right instead of just throwing the dvd version on a blu-ray disc like past releases. Great price. The product description says its a 2 disc widescreen special but it is only 1 disc that contains the movie and all special features.

I have always liked this film. FAVORITE BIT. JESSE VENTURA & THAT GUN HIS CHARACTER USED!! Just loved that. Good action film. Script however. TO THIS DAY I STILL CAN NOT FIGURE OUT IF I HEARD CORRECTLY 1 LINE ARNOLD'S CHARACTER DUTCH SAYS. MAKES NO SENSE AT ALL. When, he, Carl Weathers & his men attack the camp the hostages are in. He yells at one of his men & MAKES NO SENSE. BEFORE we learn Carl's character sent them there for a different reason FOR NO REASON all of Arnold's men treated him like garbage, with an attitude. What did the character do BEFORE we learn about the REAL MISSION to deserve that? Kind of a tacky DVD package. Thin card board. Mine is hard to get closed up. Ok, regular, normal extras. A passable, OK DVD package.

More than likely you know the story so there is little need to write about that. What is important is the picture quality and sound of this release. The picture is nice and sharp. There is some age on the movie but it still looks good not great. This looks vastly superior to the DVD version I had. If you like the movie buy the best version out.

Predator is one of my Top 10 Favorite movies. I’ve watched the 3D version about 6 times and I liked it. I purchased the 3d Version to add to my Predator/Alien Blue~Ray Collection. I’m satisfied with my purchase.

I love this movie and seeing it on a 70" TV in 3D makes it that much better! The detail you see on blu ray is crazy! I never realized how the Predator enjoyed his work. :-) If you love the predator series then this is a must have! I can now watch it "any time".

One of the best movies ever made (besides Alien[1979]). Everything about this movie is excellent. This is probably Stan Winston's best creature.
