one of the best syfy movies of its time. The action is great along with the acting and a specially the jungle scenes look so real. The only thing wrong is there is only one disc, a blue-ray. Its shown saying its 2 discs.

'Predator' is a good sci-fi action movie that fans of the genre, and Schwarzenegger fans especially, will most likely enjoy. This collector set offers some really good bonus features not available on the previous dvd release.

Interesting sci-fi action film that Schwarzenegger fans will enjoy, as will fans of the sci-fi action genre. Good dvd presentation and great sound make for a fun experience.

'Predator' is one of Schwarzenegger's better films, and this High-Def transfer, although somewhat 'overdone' as most High-Def transfers are, is actually not too bad. Bottom line, you're not really getting anything in this package that's not already on the standard 2-disc special editon, and the slightly enhanced image is just not worth the money in my opinion.

Unfortunately this release is plagued by DNR (digital noise reduction). You are much better off waiting for a new release/remaster (which is certain to come in the years ahead), or pick up the older release if you have to have it now. The grain is erased from the film, and it has taken on a look not at all consistent with how the movie was originally filmed and meant to be seen.

Could be a fluke, but I suspect it's due to my setup plus whatever factory produced these disks. I have an external blu-ray player over USB to my pc hooked up to my passive 3d tv. I have 9 other 3d blu-ray movies, all work great, not one problem. But this one doesn't load correctly. The disk name comes up on the pc (Predator3D) but the software I'm using (arcsoft, which I think has nothing to do with this problem) never loads the movie. The DVD version works fine on the same blu-ray player with arcsoft, which is also included so it's not a total loss. No reason to review the movie itself, sure you can find good write-ups elsewhere. Sad about the non-functional 3d disk, I was looking forward to this one :(

This movie from the late 80's is not really up to this day and age. It was really disappointing because there was not enough action,and the plot of the story was weak.But if you are willing to see 107mins of this then it's worth a rent.

This is a great movie and my rating is poor because it is not 2 Discs like Best Buy shows. This is a great movie but just know that it is only 1 Disc.

This is a good sci-fi action movie. Unfortunately, this full-screen dvd version alters the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1 to 1.33:1 giving a different picture than what was originally seen in the theater. Buy the widescreen version instead!
