The first Predator movie remains the best, and it’s given new life in 4K.

"Get to da choppa!" Great resolution for an "older" film. This box contains the 4k as well as the regular Blu-ray discs (2 discs total) plus the digital download code. Last time I saw this movie was probably on VHS, and to see it in it's 4k detailed glory was a treat. The video is clear and every detail stands out. Never appreciated the cinematography until seeing it in such a high resolution. The only thing I wish was 20th Century Fox included a Dolby Atmos Track. Other than that you can't beat an awesome movie in 4k for this price. So glad to have this in my 4k Blu-ray collection. You can really appreciate the scene when Arnold calls him one ugly S*O*B* because in 4k you can see how horrifyingly ugly the Predator actually is. 10/10 would "get to da choppa" again.

"Predator" is one of the great B-movies. Big star, big monster, great location, simple premise. And it has one of the greatest action scores ever! But you have not seen "Predator" until you've seen it in 3D. Granted it's old movie and granted not all of it is converted over, but what is coverted to 3D is a completely immersive, engulfing jungle that surrounds and envelopes you. Bushes twitch. Trees sway. The Predator could be anywhere. That's the sensation you'll have while treking through the junglescape with Arnold and his macho legion. Believe it or not, the 3D really adds to the viewing experience, even if this is the 100th time you've seen it. It was for me. You have not seen "Predator" like this before.

I'm often skeptical of older catalog titles getting the 3D treatment, but after a fellow 3D fan reassured me on the quality of Predator, I went for it, and I was not disappointed. I was quite impressed, actually, by how pristine the transfer was, and how much more clarity was exhibited by the 3D release. You get a much clearer sense of the layers of the jungle, and where each of the soldiers are in the 3D space. To verify my impression, I watched a few minutes of the 2D bluray afterwards, and it looked like flat garbage compared to the 3D. Revisiting this classic movie was a treat, and now having seen it in 3D, I'm not sure I could go back to 2D. Nicely done!

Can't beat a classic. Couldn't believe I didn't already own this one.

I loved the nonstop action and great A-list actors in this thriller

You know you've utter those famous words about a certain helicopter... Well in this 4K format, it is fantastic. It's not perfect because there are still some graininess here and there in the lowlight shots. And they have slightly overcompensated by going darker on the graininess or the halo effect. It still looks great and this is definitely one of my favorite movies of all time. "Whuttsa matta Dillon? CIA got you pushing doo many pencils?" (Best Ah-nuld impression)

This new presentation of “Predator” looks good at first sight, but, after opened, it contains the vain of some collectors, the dreaded “eco-case.” Brutal! These cases don’t protect the disc. Ridiculous! Serious collectors just recycle this and use real cases to protect the content.

Awesome classic movie they don’t make them like they used to

Always loved this movie but it’s even better in Blu-ray
