I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that Predator was available in 3D for the first time. It wasn't Alien Vs Predator either, it was the good Predator with my favorite actor, Arnold Schwarzenegger. I asked my best friend Leet Larry if he wanted to get to the chopper in 3d, but Larrys eyes were still red from our last adventure. So I flew solo, and let me say, the movie takes a while to build, but once it gets going, its great. The 3D is good, but not as impressive as the other 3D makeover movie I watched, Wizard of Oz. Still I would recommend this movie, because it's a classic, and seeing the Predator in 3D was disgusting.

Predator is hands-down the greatest movie of all time. every action scene is just over the top enough but not too much to where I'm rolling my eyes. The jokes are on point and never get old. And Arnold Schwarzenegger has such an amazing screen presence, 7 time mr. Olympia and I can't get enough of him on the big screen. All of that in 4K makes this the only movie you'll ever need to watch.

I really enjoy this movie and after several releases you’d think Fox could do something with the video transfer. Sounds really good but the video leaves a lot to be desired.

This is an all-time classic movie for me. Terrified me as a child, amazes me as an adult. This introduced the Predator character to the world, his awesome Predator infrared vision POV, array of cool weapons, and its prey that you actually root for! The special features on this about the making of the film are really interesting and great to watch. I definitely recommend, especially at the price I got it for, which was less than $10. I hope a steelbook cover comes out!

Predator had a tough time on the Blu-ray format, with mediocre picture quality releases, including the Ultimate Hunter Edition (aka Ultimate "DNR" Edition. The extras from the two-disc special edition DVDs were there, but the picture quality was lacking. Now, Predator comes to 4K UHD, and it looks fantastic! Finally! The home video presentation we have been waiting to have in our collections.

I am a very big fan of Predator. It pained me to see this movie completely looking like complete trash for a very long time. For about a decade, you'd have been better off watching a DVD copy of Predator than watching the Blu Ray. However, the 4K UHD transfer completely fixes everything and makes up for some of the worst Blu Rays ever.

The 3D version was better than the 2D version for me. It added good depth to the movie, which really made the movie much more enjoyable. There was a couple scenes where 3D pop out would occur, but they were subtle and some would have a hard time noticing them. The DTS-HD Master 5.1 soundtrack is very good if you have the audio gear for that format. It's all about the depth with this release. I was hesitant on getting this because it's a 3D conversion, but am glad that I purchased it. The 3D added alot to this movie and the conversion was done well. Don't hesitate to get it because it's a 3D conversion.

So starting this movie up, you're greeted with a 20th Century Fox logo as usual, and the amount of grain on that logo is ridiculous !!! But I think that goes to show how good of a transfer they did here. There's a lot of detail throughout this blu-ray that is as sharp as it can be given how old the movie is. It's mostly grainy-sharp, if that makes sense. But totally worth it!

This new 4k version of Predator is excellent. The film itself is one of the all-time best action/sci-fi flicks and now it has a real hi-def version to match its greatness. I could see the sweat beads on Arnold’s forehead from the next room over. Really amazing what they are able to do with a 30+ year old film. You know what, this review is over-I’m going to watch it again now.

Predator is an almost perfect science fiction action movie and one of Arnold's best movies. The creature design is incredible and iconic. I have bought this movie on video, DVD, BD, BD special edition and now 3D BD. I have watched it more times than I can count. The 3D enhances this movie and it is quite enjoyable. It is not as well done as a movie originally shot in 3D like Avatar, but it is still worth the purchase price.

This movie is on my "Top 20" personal list. I've watched this movie hundreds of times already since I was a kid when it first came out. I must of purchased a new formatted version of the film and add it to my collection. Now that I have the 4K version, this movie was so clear and action packed with the greatest quality sound! A must have to your collection!

While I won’t review the movie itself. But if you’re a fan of Predator, the 4K version is the best the movie will look. Not as grainy as the first Blu-ray release and definitely better than the waxy looking Hunters Edition Blu-ray. I was actually surprised at how good the movie looked.

Truly one of Arnold’s best action movies of the 1980’s and looks amazing in 4k. I had put off the Blu-ray purchase hoping this would get put to 4k and it did. So far most of the movies seem to look quite a bit better then the Blu-ray versions. Truly worth adding to ones collection.

This movie was always a classic. But in ultra hd it hit another gear. The Dolby Atmos sound track is a runaway freight train of exotic jungle animal and bird song. The colors burst 3d into my home theater. But the story still holds up, even after watching as far back as laser disc days.

Predator will always be a classic alien film. The cheesy dialogue delivered by Arnold and his crew is perfect 80's cheese. The Predator has never looked better now in Blu-ray quality. His costume stands the test of time and proves how great the makeup and prosthetics crews were back in the 80's. Practical effects are awesome! Get this movie and see if you have what it takes to go toe to toe with the Predator!

I purchased this to be a part of my small blu ray collection, however I got much more. So many extra features and behind the scenes footage ive never seen. The movie still holds up amazingly well after so much time. The revamp in video and audio quality to blu ray is definitely worth it, your in the very jungle with the actors. Great buy whether your an existing Predator fan or want a great classic flick to watch.

This is a classic 80's war/sci-fi movie and if you have not seen it, buy it now! This is the best of all the Predator movies and 4K makes it better!! The image and sound quality is way better than the 1080P Blu-Ray. I got it on sale, so I am very happy with my Buy.

One of my favorite movies ever. Back when filmmakers can make a violent R rated kids movie. I still remember feeling hyped while sitting in the theater with my mom. Now I’m sitting on the couch with my own kiddos introducing them to my childhood. Next up, Robocop.

PREDATOR is an all time classic film great visuals and cinematography along with an all star cast phenomenal and in stunning 4K even better crisp clarity and vibrant color along wth HDR only enhanced the backgrounds, shadows and effects surrounding the film. Excellent pick up for any Predator fan.

I saw this movie when it first came out. It was easily one of my favorite Arnold's movies. I was excited when I learned this movie to be released in 3D. Detailed 3D effects, and good use of the technology. I'd highly recommend this movie for the 3D effects alone. It's not at the Avatar level, but it's definitely one of the better 3D Blu-rays out there
