This early Schwarzenegger's attempt into the action movie genre is O.K. to watch, but his later movies are undoubtedly much more exciting as his experience in movie making gets much improved . This movie is still somewhat entertaining but since it is mostly shot under the dim lighting conditions of a jungle environment it is more helpful to watch this movie in the Blu ray 2D format where it is possible to adjust the brightness level and other viewing conditions to improve your viewing pleasure for the details shown under these dim lighting conditions. In the 3D mode where the lighting conditions are set by your TV manufacturer's technical abilities it is fixed, and therefore you can not adjust the brightness or clarity of the image. So, when you have a movie that lacks the proper lighting to make things stand out in the dark, the effects of 3D are really not coming forward enough since you have no way of properly judging the depth of the environment you are in. This movie is very marginal in that perspective. So when you are thinking of purchasing this flick to add something to your newly acquired 3D movie collection, as I did, you are wasting your money. I have older releases of this movie, including also one on laser disc, I believe, that are just as good to watch as this release in 2D. Although the Blu ray quality is a small improvement, not very much, it is not worth spending extra money on THIS set if you already have it.

This Predator is by far the best in the series. It's iconic and will never be matched by another in the franchise. The Blue Ray quality is much improved over the DVD.

You cannot go wrong with this flick. Great movie made even better with 3d. If you have not seen this movie than add it to your list of must see movies. Classic Arnold with jesse the body and Apollo creed. Also, it is one of the cheapest 3d bluerays so it is a good movie for growing your 3d collection. I must note that this movie was not filmed with modern 3d cameras so the 3d is not as good as today's high budget special effects movies but you should not expect it to be.

The first Predator movie... The only one that matters! And it looks gorgeous in 4k. I was surprised at how well it looks. I expected more grain, but not at all. Very clear and vivid colors. It looks as if it just came out recently as a film.

I really do not need to review Predator, except that this version has been converted for 3d viewing. I must say that the conversion was done quite well. Adding in depth to the film, making it like as if you are there in the jungle with Arnie. I like it quite a bit and wish that other films would be converted for those of us who actually like 3d films.

Still one of the great sci fi classics. For a 4 k movie, really disappointed in graphics. Seemed almost grainy at times

I enjoyed the movie. It was rather predictable and the acting wasn’t that great. But it was fun watching my kids see it.

I was really impressed with the 3D in the classic 80’s movie PREDATOR. It’s still the best Predator movie in the franchise and I recommend this one for anyone who likes 3D Blu Rays, also includes 2D version. Picture quality is awesome and sound quality is amazing.

There have been so many releases of Predator and at last, it has been given the care ot deserves. The 4k presentation is the best this movie is ever going to look with a nice sheen of grain. Overall sound is good but should have added an Atmos track. My biggest gripe is the cover art. Very lame. Definite purchase for on of Arnold's best movies.

Oh, man. I love this movie. It's the perfect amount of 80's cheese and is a great popcorn action flick. Insanely quotable, has an awesome movie monster in the Predator (right up there with Xenomorphs), and is actually a pretty good movie, for what it's worth. It excels at what it set out to accomplish, and is an all around enjoyable ride.

A great classic movie a must own if you love 80’s action movies and predator I’m very happy with this purchase just wish that with the digital code it also would have included the dvd with it but I can’t complain I guess

A great 80s movie that belongs in every collection. The 4K transfer is outstanding. Sharp detail and color is very well done and the movie retains a natural film grain that is not distracting. This is a textbook example of how to do a film to 4K transfer. It looks great on my Sony A9F OLED

I like to see design with metal case and picture. I love classic Predator better than currently movie. Arnold is great actor to fight Bloody Predator. However, it is 107 minutes and I wish they need more time to put great story. I do recommend everyone to buy this if you love classic movie!

Predator is one of the best sci fi movies I've seen yet. Arnold is at his best when he confronts this alien race called the predator. The action is great and keeps going through out this whole film. I would give this movie 5 stars.

This is a pretty good movie at a very good price for Blu-Ray & Digital. If you like Arnold Schwartzeneggar you will be in Alien Paradise. He wears on me a bit now. I liked him a lot more when I was younger & this movie is nearly 35 years old. This does well in Blu-Ray & you cannot beat the price.

After viewing the awful Blu-ray which was very murky and dark, this 4K release which was a true master from the negative looks fantastic. The colors are more accurate and you see a lot more detail in the dark and shadowy areas well worth it.

An incredible movie that still holds its weight. The steelbook set really pops ok this one. I wish I had a poster of this as well. Shout factory should of did this one up

Classic film and a great looking steelbook. However, i recieved my steelbook heavily dented on the front and back. Looks like something heavy caved it in. Most of the time my stuff comes in mail ok but there hhave been a few times when my stuff has not been in the best shape.

For some reason, in the opening scene between Dutch and Dillon, both Arnold and Carl Weathers have a HEAVY beauty filter over their faces. Meaningless since the filter is not used in any other scene in the film. It is very off putting, pointless and tarnishes the quality filmmaking that needs no touchup.

This has always been one of my favorite movies, an action packed, tightly edited classic which I just watched on 4 k and it was like watching it unlike any time before. Good print, gold value. And fun fun fun
