The 3D effects bring you in more than 2D
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As a post generated 3D, this has the effect of bringing you into the film (which at the time was one of the better alien-based action films). Not much in the way of things floating in front of you or coming at you, but that's to be expected for something filmed for a 2D audience. If you're a sci-fi/alien buff and don't have it yet and are an early 3D adopter, it's worth the few extra bucks over 2D. But not nearly enough to make you want to go out and get a 3D TV and Blu-Ray player
