Looks Like a Picture

I tried numerous times to get my serial number information so that I could register my products since the technicians hauled off of the trash without providing me with the information. I’ve yet to hear from anyone.

A bad shortcut
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I liked the three gentlemen that came from the Geek Squad. I am upset about at least one shortcut they took. When they drilled in the wall with a hole saw they ran into a 2x4 (structural/supporting). Instead of patching the hole and moving it over, they chiseled a big hunk of 2x4 out so that the fixture that channeled the wires inside the wall would actually fit. Now I have a supporting 2x4 compromised. Like I said they were friendly enough, but when 2 of the 3 tried to block the view so my wife and I couldn't see, they just wanted to get it done and hurry up about it. Not typical Geek Squad mode of operation. I'd like to say I would recommend the Geek Squad for installation but I don't want to lie.

Did the minimum set up i did the rest
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The service guy set up the tv on my stand but failed to secure to my wall with the existing hardware, failed to level the unit, failed to synch my remotes failed to "walk us through the install and new tv connections". My wife didn't even know where the power button was. I later did all that i was told he would do but still couldn't get the remote to program. Overall this guaranteed replacement if anything was damaged so still glad i got the service.

Customer Service and installation "Very Poor"

Geek Squad had to come 3 times to get installation done correctly. 3. Customer Service was awful. Between customer service, the store, and the Geek Squad nobody knew what was going on. Everybody had different, wrong, and conflicting information. 4. Every time either myself or my wife called we got different information and answers. They did not know if the TV was delivered and installed. Then when installed on the second trip, kept getting e-mail notifications with three different dates installation was to occur. 5. Was double charged on installation. Had to go to the store of purchase (30 miles round trip) to get it corrected. 6. Had a lot of difficulty just contacting the store of purchase. Either got redirected to customer service, was on hold for an excessive amount of time, or got disconnected while on hold. 7. Finally, the last Geek Squad installation crew (Kristopher) got everything completed. The first and second crew (Daniel) did an extremely unprofessional and poor job. Had to come back the second time because they thought they would have to reinstall the mount. On the second trip, used what was already there. 8. They installed the TV to the mount (a) but the top vertical frame was attached too high, (b) the bottom vertical frame was installed backwards, (c) this would not allow enough room to attach a sound bar at a later date, and (d) the tension on the mantle mount was not set correctly, allowing the TV to retract upward at a rapid rate banging the TV at the top. THE POOREST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND INSTALLATION PROCESS I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. 9. Only did the last crew get it right and be able to explain some of the features of the TV. Will I ever use this service again...NO Will I buy from Best Buy again...NOT UNLESS I HAVE TOO! This whole experience has really turned me off to your store and especially the customer service and installation.

Did good job

However not impressed with having to wait 3 weeks to have TV delivered and installed, and informed incorrectly by sales staff of what was included in this service.

Wall mount

Now I have holes in my wall. I have to call for re-do, and mounted the way we wanted.

Cleanup can be better

99% Perfect

They showed up on time, took care to keep things neat and tidy and were willing to go the extra mile to help make my install perfect. A backing on the TV does not stay attached and keeps falling but otherwise, I was very happy with the install. If you plan to put a TV on the wall, don't do it yourself. Hire a pro.
