Day 1 Late, AND did not come prepared
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.On my scheduled date they did not show up on time, installer called me at the very end of my window to tell me they would be about an hour late. When they did show up with my TV they were unprepared, said they needed more people to install my 85" TV. Did they not know what the were delivering? On the new date, they attempted to tell me I should have bought a different mount. I had done my research when I bought the wall mount, so I stood firm. Finally got installed, that is why they did not get one star. Would not use them to install again.

we had to have Best buy out 3 times big issues

Poor Scheduling

No information there other than "out for delivery" so I called and was told the technician would arrive in 3 to 4 more hours. I find it unacceptable that my family is locked down in their house waiting a whole day because Best Buy can't schedule appropriately or communicate efficiently with their customers. For the same price, next time we will pick up the unit and hire a professional installer.

Horrific experience with Installs, LLC (3rd party)
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the new 65 inch Sony OLED TV and the installation was assigned to a 3rd party installer called Installs, LLC (https://www.installs.com/). For some reason, they were selected instead of the Geek Squad. It was the worst customer service experience of my life. They literally did not show up to my first appointment, and then proceeded to not show up for the next THREE rescheduled appts. Then, on the 4th appt, the technician called our house, and left a message saying we didn't order a bracket so he wasn't going to come. We had a bracket at home. I went back to the store and cancelled the entire order. Please don't let Best Buy schedule an installation with INSTALLS, LLC. Wasted hours upon hours of my life and I didn't end up with a TV.

Would us Geek Squagain, but...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Because I purchased an LG television and LG sound bar, I wanted to be sure everything was set up correctly, I did not break anything and I understood the controls and capabilities of my purchase. However, I did not get the promised Geek Squad installation team, but an independent handyman contracted by Best Buy to do the instal. He did a good job with the install, but learning the controls and capabilities of the system was left to me. Thus the 2 star rating.

TV Installation

Installer was rushing to leave. He had to come later in the afternoon to orient me to the TV and remote features. Aesthetic issues weren’t identified until next day. Sound is muffled because TV sits directly in front of sound bar. Wrong COAX connection was used. The only positive aspect is I had it installed in time for Thanksgiving football games.

Did not finish the job

COULD NOT GET TV TO WORK AND TOLD ME IT WAS A PROBLEM IN MY XFINITY BOX AND NEEDED A 4K BOX. XFINITY CAME OUT AND SAID I DID NOT NEED A 4K BOX. THEY GOT THE TV WORKING. NOBODY FROM GEEK SQUAD FOLLOWED UP TO SEE IF I GOT THE TV WORKING OR NOT. THEY REALLY SEEMED TO BE IN TOO MUCH OF A HURRY TO GET TO THEIR NEXT JOB.

Installation charges

After, I asked them to program the tv to my universal remote and they told me they cannot program and I need to call their service center to make an appointment for someone else to come and it will be additional charge. I was speechless.

Incompetent messy geek squad agent
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The geek squad agent was in a hurry and did sloppy work, especially when using the in wall cord system. Miss cut the wholes and they don’t line up, but fortunately it’s hidden for now behind a tv stand! I’ve read excellent reviews on geek squad agents in other states but find ours to be incompetent!

Television cracked, installation delayed and delay

They put up all the brackets and once they took the television out off the box it was cracked. They promised to get back with us and left with the television. They never contacted us. I called to delivery manager to set up a new appointment and to find out what happened. She had no answer but reschedule the appointment. Today December 7 the television came but no geek squad. They said they could not install just deliver. This is our second time taking off work for delivery and installation of a television that did not happen. This is just terrible service. So, we called back again today December 7 and the person said she apologized however we will have to call back after December 8 to schedule for installation. What service?
