This was a great movie! My wife and I loved it, yes this is a guy writing this review. We watched at the theatres and bought it on DVD as soon as it was out. We have watched it over 20 times and watched it with all of our family. It makes us think of how great it is too fall in love. Yes I know cheesy but true. We highly recommend

Great movie for all expecially familys. this movie is reccomended for people that really enjoy old fashion movies. Kierra Knightly plays a great role in this movie. Also great movie for a girls night, can be considered a chic flick. recommended for all people to watch this excellent film, that was released in 2005.

The best Austen adaptation for the big screen that I've seen. Great cinematography, editing, acting, the works. Keep in mind though that this is a movie, not a word for word transfer of the book to the screen. Like the best adaptations of novels, it takes the essence and remakes it for the medium instead of trying to be a visual book.

The movie inspired me to read the book, which is now my favorite book. It is condensed, but still surprisingly accurate. Keira Knightley's portrayal orf Elizabeth Bennet is right on as well as Mathew MacFadyen as Mr. Darcy. He makes you fall in love with Mr. Darcy.

I have already watched this movie 4 times since I bought it, including once with my husband (an action movie lover), who liked it as well. The scenery is really beautiful, the acting well done, and the plot and script true to the book. I could not have asked for a better movie!

This is a great movie. Keira Knightly is wonderfully casted as Elizabeth. Even Donald Sutherland gave a great performance as the british father. This film also has the best looking cast. By far my favorite version based on the book.

I don't think of myself as one who likes chick flicks but I love this one. It will leave you wanting more. Filmed in a part of England where it is still the same today as it was so long ago, no wires for phones or electric power. Breathtaking views and acting. A classic in every way.

The best remake of this story. A great movie for all ages. A good movie for teenage females to understand what it was like for them back at this time. A must see Jane Austin movie

Pride and Prejudice is a classic. This particular movie has wonderful actors with incredible chemistry, stunning scenery & costumes as well as romance and comedy. This is a must see...again & again.

Mathew MacFadyen as Mr. Darcy makes you fall in love with him. He is a great actor, artist, and besides he makes people feels "extasiado". The movie leaves you wanting more. My two teenager daughters loved the movie, too.

One of my favorite romantic drama movies of all time. Guys if you want to watch something with your significant other on valentines day, you definitely can't go wrong with this one.

Although the Colin Firth mini-series is better, this is an excellent 2-hour version!

This movie is the age-old story of love in the victorian english era. This movie did a great job of bringing Jane Austen's work to life. The plot is beautiful. If you love Jane Austen you will like this movie!

This a very well done film in comparison to the book. A great watch

When i rented this move i thought this would be something i would enjoy. I mean pride and prejudice is my favorite book after all. But Kiera knightlys portrayal of the immortal character Elizabeth Bennett is appalling. The script is ridiculous not at all like the book. The speech is mediocre. It takes away from the Story Jane Austen has written. Kiera knightly looks constipated threw out the whole movie. And every time she talks to Mr. Darcy she seems like a deer in the headlights. If you want to see an excellent portrayel of all of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice characters rent the Pride and Prejudice with Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth made in 2001. This adaption is fantastic. You will never watch the other one again. And i believe you will concur that the version with miss Knightly is rubbish.
