Absolutely love this movie! Watched it before I ever had kids and then it became a favorite of both my children who are now 27 years old. My son loves to quote movies and when he was little he would act out the sword play. Great family movie for any age!

I've been watching this movie since I was a kid and still enjoy it each time I see it again! I bought it as a gift for my young cousin and he enjoyed it as well! Great adventure movie with lots of action, comedy, and romance too!

It's "inconceivable" where a day goes by and I'm not quoting this movie! I bought this copy for my kids (teens) to watch, and they love it too. If you have never seen The Princess Bride, then BUY THIS MOVIE!!! Even if you have seen it, buy it anyway.

This is a classic movie. You will enjoy the most when watching the whole movie vs. some clips. The package is not bad, though I wish it can be done better. Also there are multiple versions of this movie. What I got is the 25th year anniversary version.

I have watched this movie many, many times and it never ceases to entertain. The dialogue is funny, the characters are hilarious, and the story is brilliant. This is a satire, but a well-done, classic, memorable film. My family quotes lines from this movie regularly.

I remember the first time I saw this movie on HBO in the late 80's. I thought it was a really great fantasy film. So many memorable characters & lines. This movie has love, action, drama, adventure, fantasy, comedy..and it's good for the whole family.

I adore this movie. The added features of interviews with the cast made it just that much better. I always imagined that it was a fun movie to make and the cast had a good time together and was glad to have that notion verified. The tributes to Andre the Giant were very touching.

One of the best adventure movies ever made. The only thing that I can complain about is the slow pace it occasionally has. Also, sometimes the jokes seem cheeky, but there are enough good ones to keep the moving going. Overall a great film.

This is NOT a new edition of the classic! I was very disappointed when I opened the box and the so-called 30th anniversary edition is just a cardboard picture taped onto the 20th anniversary edition package. And it cost three dollars more!

This movie is a classic. It's got it all. Love, action and comedy all in one. When I bought the Blu-ray I wasn't sure if it would make a difference being that the movie is 30 years old. It really does make a difference! Good family movie.

I have always loved this movie, but have seen it so many times I never considered buying it...then I saw it on sale and had to do it. I'm glad I did...we have watched it a couple of times since, including once with my kids and they really enjoyed it too.

Great classic movie, loved watching this with my kids. What else can you say about this classic movie. Video and sound are not great, but it's not that kind of movie.

If you have not seen this movie, do yourself a favor and check it out. It is story telling at its best. Just like a "classic" Disney movie (nowadays include Pixar), it has something to say which both young and old can prosper from.

If you are reading this review about this movie then I congratulate you for escaping your captors. It's been a long 30 years and a lot has changed. This movie is really good. Buy it now before anyone finds out you haven't seen it yet.

Our whole family has loved this movie for over 20 years. Quotes from this ("as you wish !!!) ("marr-widge") pop up periodically. A real touchstone for us. Great actors, from Peter Faulk to Billy Crystal to Andre the Giant and many others.

One of the top ten movies of the last fifty years. It's a must buy for all ages. It's a timeless classic for veryone. Showed it to a group of guys who thought it was a dud before viewing the DVD. All the guys were shocked and loved the movie.

A fairy tale filled with a little bit of everything, adventure, comedy, romance.... An awesome cast with lots of great and well known actors. I highly recommend giving this one a view.

It is a storybook romance that has it's normal twists and turns. I liked the plot and laughed and cried over various parts of it. It has a happy ending which is necessary for a good romance. Reality gives us enough bad endings. Enjoy this one.

I loved this movie when I was young. I had this movie in VHS and then DVD but the DVD got scratched from nephews watching it and mishandling it too much. I bought this one to watch with my son because I think this is a must watch.

What can I say that hasn't been said. I love this movie. I have since I was a child. If you like action, fantasy, romance and comedy or all of the above, get this movie. If you haven't seen it, watch it. You will not be disappointed.
