Great movie with a great theme and cast outstanding family value, the entire family loved it, we have taken the movie to my older son home, where he and his wife and my three grandkids watched it.and everyone enjoyed it. Definetly a five star movie

I have every line of this movie memorized. I have watched it several times a year since I was a child. I have recommended PB to others. I have bought PB on every format. Does that give you an idea of how much I love this movie?

Who doesn't love this film? Great acting, great script, great subtle (and not so subtle) humor. A modern twist on a fairy tale. I have seen this movie so many times and I still bought it. That should tell you something. Suitable for all ages.

I picked this up as a Christmas present for my wife. It is one of her favorite movie. As with most Blu-Rays, I am certain that this will put the DVD to shame. If you like this movie, buy the Blu-Ray. You won't be disappointed.

Maybe not the greatest movie ever, but dang close. Its one of those movies that's great for the whole family no matter the age group. Its full of one-liners that you'll be quoting for the rest of your life. A fun story, fun script, fun actors....

This is simply one of the best movies ever. Appeals to young and old and tells a great story. Probably one of the most quotable films, too. The movie hits on many genres as it tells the tale of love lost and found. Watch it!

How can you not enjoy watching this movie over and over again. I loved it as a college student and now my own kids loved it. It has everything a good movie should, adventure, humor, wit, style, romance, twists, and some memorable lines. Great film.

Nice to get the blu ray and digital copy to watch on the go. However, “30th Anniversary Edition” was simply a piece of printed card stock they glued to the front of the regular Blu Ray.

This movie made me smile because I havent seen it since I was 10 or 12. It was just as good as I remember, and even the gentleman at the cash register had a smile on his face when he saw I was buying it. great movie at a great price. Thanks

It is inconceivable that someone wouldn’t like this movie. This is a classic that can be enjoyed by all. I love that the younger generations are discovering how great this movie is. Buy it now, you won’t be disappointed.

Decided to upgrade my copy to BlueRay when this cover caught my eye. Cool graphic interpretation of a great film. The price was right and this is an awesome classic. If you do not have this in your collection (inconceivable!) please go get it now.

Perfect family movie. We watch it at least once a year. Bought this one as a gift. Will keep adults and children entertained. Has loads of stars such as Robin Wright, Andre the Giant, Billy Crystal, Carol Kane, etc. Probably my favorite movie ever.

This is a classic, who doesn't love ROUSes and the Pit of Despair or the five fingered man. This has it all, action, comedy and some romance. A true family classic that can be enjoyed by all generations.

The princess bride has it all. Comedy and action and romance and suspense. To me it's mostly comedy and romance but it's such a great movie with fun scenes and great sets. Love the writing and we all watch this movie as a family once in a while

These reviews should reflect the Blu-Ray, not the movie. This is Best Buy, not IMDB.com. I felt the transfer quality was very strong. You get great audio quality with the DTS track. I'm happy I purchased the anniversary edition.

I bought this movie for my kids to watch and now they love it just like I did as a kid. It’s a must see for kids who don’t know anything about the fire swamps or the six fingered man.

After 30 years this is still one of the funniest films I have seen. It seems ageless. Who can't remember "My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die?" It is up there with "make my day."
