This movie is for everyone it has mature themes that kids and adults can understand, and it has light moments that will melt your heart with emotions, give it a chance you won't regret it. Overall it's a magestic movie.

It's just great. From the voice acting, to the artwork, to the plot. Not very family oriented because of the gore, but the story is great and it does have a great lesson to be taught. It is definitely a MUST SEE.

I remember seeing Princess Mononoke in the cinemas back in the late 90s. I was blown away by the animation and story. I absolutely loved the film. So decided to buy the blu-ray and I was not disappointed one bit.

As a mother of 3, I always look for movies that are heartfelt and something that we all can learn from it. Studio Ghibli movies does that. We almost have all the movies, we love every single one. Hayao Miyazaki is a genius!

this is a masterpiece! i’ve had the dvd since the films release but had to upgrade to the blu ray,which looks great. classic anime.

This is one of the classics of Anime. Blue Ray on a 4K TV is flawless. This film, Ghost in the Shell and Akita should be in every Anime collection.

Looks great on Bluray. One of the best animated movies of all time. Questionable omission of subtitles generated from the original Japanese text, but if youre not a purist in that respect its an outstanding movie.

Classic Miyazaki with Bright and warm characters and thoroughly interesting storyline. Beautifully drawn and captivating immersion in this film. A bit violent for the younger crowd. But definitely a must watch!

I really like all the films that are produced by this writer. each one has such depth to the worlds and the drawling's are very well done. I wish more animated films would go back to hand drawn over CGI.

And that would summarize this review. Great animation, great story. Loved it, like all the other movies from Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli. Collect them all!

I love this movie. Rewatching it on bluray makes it even better. I wouldn't recommend it for very young kids or kids with nightmare problems, there are some intense parts. Some gross parts/gorey parts.

This is by far one of my favorite animation movies of all time. The Story is great and I like that it has a mature serious feel to it. The voice acting is superb. Must watch. Only downside is that it's pretty pricey.

I love this movie, one of my favorite Miyazaki movies. It has a great storyline, which delves into deeper thoughts on human nature. Animation is outstanding, his movies are all visual masterpieces.

After Akira, obvs. Princess Mononoke was the first Miyazaki film I became aware of during its release in my teens. Now I can have the pleasure of sharing it with my nieces and nephews.

Timeless story of man versus nature that still has a kernel of truth that rings forth in today's world. Epic animation and sound brought to new light in the Blu-ray format made me a fan all over again.

This was the first movie I ever saw from Hayao Miyazaki years ago & it's still just as good today & looks great on Blue Ray. This man created some amazing movies & this is one of his the top 3 for me.

One of the top 3 studio ghibli movies. Great storyline solid steel book to add to collection. Spirited away and howls moving castle best 3.

I had never seen a Studio Ghibli film before so I decided to pick up this blu-ray. This isn't going to be an in-depth review, but I will say that I might need to watch this movie multiple times in order to fully appreciate it. The animation was beautiful, but nothing about the story or characters really captured my attention. Or perhaps I'm only disappointed because my expectations were extremely high. Good movie, regardless.

GKids did it right this time! It has subtitles that are faithful to the Japanese Language Version and also English subtitles for the English Dubbed Version. And you know which is which!!!
