This is one of those Anime that is not for younger viewers. The artistry is amazing. The story is good as a metaphor. There is a lot of blood at times, yet it is a story about peace, at least the goal is peace. There is good and bad in most of the characters, so no white hat/black hat. It has become one of those classic Hayao Miyazaki films.

Very cool story. One of the best. But it's not for children under 5 years old.

My son got this movie in memory of my wife. She passed unexpectedly a few months ago. Princess Mononoke was one of her favorite movies.

This movie was great but I expecting a more lighthearted fairytale style film and got a gore filled war film. It was a pleasant surprise

This movie is a beautiful example of Animation at it's best. It will be one I force my kids to watch someday, and hopefully my grandkids.
