Watched this with a friend and we loved it, time well spent.

This movie is amazing and a classic from when I was younger.

The Blu-Ray is a definite upgrade to the original. My household is a big Studio Ghibili fan. Princess Mononoke is a great film and definitely comes at life circumstances from a different cultural perspective. A lot of Japanese Anime is set with some sort of Dystopian feel to it, and sometimes it explains why and sometimes it just thrusts you into the middle of the conflict without much backstory. Princess Mononoke gets closer to that latter on that spectrum.

Just like the title says. This is one our favorite movies.

The movie looks good on Blu, but my problem is that there are still very few extras for it. Considering how all-out Disney went for Miyazaki's other films, this is a shame. But it's still worth owning for fans.
