She loves this movie she look this movie too many time all day

Great movie. It was a great present for my son. He likes it.

I enjoyed the movie very well. The characters were very good.

I was recommended this movie, but not being into anime much, I was hesitant. However, I was enthralled by the complex plot and interesting character dynamics. In fact, it's a film I may use in future classes I teach to show the hero's journey. I only wish it had a digital copy...

This movie is definately for all ages. There are some violent fighting scenes that may not be suitable for tiny little kids but the morals and values that are displayed in this movie are important. The artwork alone will hold anyone's attention and the storyline is also fun for anyone. This director and artist is just so amazing--I own all of his movies.

This is one of the very best Studio Ghibli movies, hands down. Everything from the plot to the animation, to the soundtrack, simply awesome. There IS some violence (a bit graphic, even!), so not for the wee, but if you are old enough, I can't recommend this enough!

If you haven't seen this movie I certainly suggest you check it out! Then, if you haven't seen the other movies released by Ghibli, I suggest you buy them all and watch them immediately. The story, settings, characters, animation, everything is beautiful. I can't recommend this movie, and the other releases any higher!

This is a nice addition to my Disney movie collection. This was relatively hard to come by too, so an added bonus in finding it at a decent price too.

Miyazaki's skill at combining nature's beauty with real world problems to evoke discussion and emotion is realized beautifully in Princess Mononoke. Fusing old Japanese spirituality, crisp animation and an amazing story, Mononoke still has the same impact now as it did when I first watched it as a child.

Princess Mononoke is known for its epic scale and exploration of the relationship between humans and nature. When I first saw it, I found the plot slightly confusing, but was more put off by the relatively ambivalent conclusion (I'm a sucker for "satisfying" resolutions). Now that I'm older, I appreciate the ending more on an intellectual level, but still find the film less satisfying emotionally than most of Miyazaki's others (notably Spirited Away, Castle in the Sky, Nausicaa, and Totoro). I had previously owned the DVD, and the Bluray is a great upgrade, really showing off all the work that went into the beautiful and striking animation.

This Anime has always been a classic & the steel book I knew I had to get. Princess Mononoke is a must for Anime beginners & veterans alike!

Princess Mononoke is one of Studio Ghibli's most exceptional works. The story and characters of Mononoke's world are presented beautifully through the stellar animation and entrancing score. Highly recommended, a must watch.

One of my favorite movies by studio Ghibli. A prince, cursed while protecting his village, must venture out into the far east to rise up and meet his fate. The had drawn animation is excellent and the musical score fits the film wonderfully. This is among the best animated films created in my opinion. I highly recommend it.

Miyazaki's films are all great, but this one was my entry point and still remains my favorite. The blu-ray transfer is worth the extra money if you're looking for an upgrade or really just a starting point. It was also recently ranked in the top 10 or the 100 best anime films of all time by Paste magazine.

This is a classic for Japanese anime fans and my daughter wanted to have it in case hbo max stops streaming ghibli studio movies in the future.

The first movie I saw by Hayao Miyazaki was .. Spirited Away... I was blown away by that movie. I've been purchasing other movies that he has made and none of his movies are bad. You can't help but feel good after this movie...your kids will love it..........great animation.....the story and characters are great

Studio Ghibli makes some beautiful movies, and this is one of the best. I saw this in the theater years ago, bought it on VHD, DVD and now blu-Ray. It's one of those movies that simply belongs in your collection. My only regret is not picking it up when it had the slip case, because I'm a sucker for that.

Being Anime month, I picked up Berserk arc trilogy and Totoro for pretty cheap. My cousin wanted Princess Mononoke, so I bought it, but have not had the chance to watch it. If I remember, I'll update this review later after I've watched it next time I visit my cousin, or if she'll let me borrow it.

The Studio Ghibli animations have ruined other animation for me. The level of setting detail, character detail, art, and real care for animated frames make these movies real works of art. I'd recommend pretty much anything they put out, starting with Spirited Away. But Mononoke is a real masterpiece.
