Timeless story of man versus nature that still has a kernel of truth that rings forth in today's world. Epic animation and sound brought to new light in the Blu-ray format made me a fan all over again.

One of my favorite Studio Ghibli movies. A beautiful story and characters that will leave a lasting impression. This is a great addition to any collection.

GKids did it right this time! It has subtitles that are faithful to the Japanese Language Version and also English subtitles for the English Dubbed Version. And you know which is which!!!

I had never seen a Studio Ghibli film before so I decided to pick up this blu-ray. This isn't going to be an in-depth review, but I will say that I might need to watch this movie multiple times in order to fully appreciate it. The animation was beautiful, but nothing about the story or characters really captured my attention. Or perhaps I'm only disappointed because my expectations were extremely high. Good movie, regardless.

One of my top 5 Studio Ghibli films, the visuals in this are so incredibly iconic. A must watch for people looking for things to do while stuck indoors.

This was the first movie I ever saw from Hayao Miyazaki years ago & it's still just as good today & looks great on Blue Ray. This man created some amazing movies & this is one of his the top 3 for me.

Bought this for my daughter who loves Studio Ghibli movies. As always, this one is super entertaining and has beautiful artistic work. If you like Studio Ghibli movies, you'll love this!

The movie in my opinion is the best Hayao Miyazaki film. The film and plot are amazing and this blu ray edition just adds to that. The picture is crystal clear. This is a must buy for any studio ghibli fans.

I've loved this movie for years and I'm so glad that I finally bought it. Great artwork and characters. The movie conveys a noble message about the relationship we have with the environment too.

This is a wonderful example of the Studio Ghibli and Miyazaki films. There is so much color and detail built into the animation. It was a fantastic story that comes across beautifully on Blu-Ray.

This a by far one of the best anime to ever come out. The story line is great and the action is spot on. You will fall in love with the characters.

Another amazing film from Studio Ghibli. The characters, story and musical score are in line with Nuasicca of the Valley of the Wind. This film is a must own for the family to enjoy over and over.

Studio Ghibli has always had a high standard of quality entertainment with magical story telling. I am thrilled that my children have fallen in love with them as I did when I was a child.

This may not be as loved by the Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli fans as others, but I loved it. And the disc video and audio is as good as it is going to get, IMHO - considering how old this is!

Princess Monoke is a fantastic movie and I love the new packaging from GKids. Just remember, if you've never seen this before, it's not as kid-friendly as other Ghibli films.
