Love this movie and similar movies by the same director. Storyline is really good too

Purchasing this was good because it was my first time watching this film and I loved it so much definitely recommend

I remembered seeing this when I was young and because of that I got it for my kids. They are 7 and 9. In retrospect, it was a little bloody for them. Still a very good movie and a lot of fun, but if you don't want to spend a lot of time talking about death and waking up to your kids having nightmares I suggest screening it first to make sure your kids are on the level.

Of the whole Ghibli collection, this is my favorite film. It's gorgeous, dark, whimsical and the voice acting is great.

Excellent animation, story, voice acting, and visuals. I'd recommend this film to anyone, though some parts may be too scary or violent for young children.

This is another hit coming from Mizaki, a famous director in Japan and respected world wide. Animation is amazing and the story line can be enjoyed by adult.

I like that you can still appreciate this type of film… I just wish there was a digital code attached to the disc

Such a great movie. Packaging was sturdy, movie is in good condition, I would recommend this to anyone that enjoys animation. This is a Miyazaki classic.

I bought this online. This review is for the Blu Ray, not the movie. The movie is 10 out of 10 by far. The Blu Ray is excellent. You can indeed tell a difference over the DVD quality. But the photo on the BestBuy website shows the Blu Ray having a slip cover. But it unfortunately does not. I was pretty bummed because Studio Ghibli has beautiful art work. So -1 star

I saw this animation when they first came out I thought it was an awesome animation and is still number one to me , the best animation I have seen since Akira...

If you're into an anime style movie based on the battle between nature and humans with a almost eerie twist to it this is definitely the movie to watch.

I'm not big on anime but any Studio Ghibli Film and I'm there! It's a great story about the forest and it's relationship wit spirits, gods and humans.

my children and I loved this move. We enjoy many studio ghibli movies. We have over 15 and enjoy them all. some more than others and this was a fav....

If you like anime or you don't you really can't miss with Studio Ghibli and this is one of my staples.

New animated movies just aren’t like this.This should be the blueprint on making animated movies

Love this movie. I put in on all the time when there's nothing else to do and it always has my full attention.

Added this to my collection because when you look up Studio Ghibli this always pops up. So I decided it was time to watch and add this to my collection.
