This has been one of my absolute favorite movies since around 2001ish and i was very excited to learn that it had been re-released in this format. Whether you are just starting out or are a well versed anime veteran i would definitely this movie.

this was the first miyazaki movie i watch. very good movie. if you're watching this with young kids, please be aware that there is blood and body parts dismemberment (just a few) in this movie.

My mom collects these types of movies so I bought her this movie. She said it was a good movie and my 11yr old daughter liked it too.

This is a very interesting movie. Animation was well ahead of its time when this movie came out. I've watched this movie many times and keeps me interested each time.

This movie is wonderful, unique story and characters. The blu ray release also manages to improve on the picture and sound significantly from previous dvd versions.

She had just finished watching my neighbor totoro and was all into watching studio ghibli films and she loved this one as well!!

I remember watching this when I was a kid and it is still amazing. Glad it was finally brought the the States in blu ray.

I love anime films and Princess Monanoke was a beautiful film. I liked it however my taste in anime leans more towards Howl's Moving Castle or the series Hellsing, but over all a very good film.
