I was hoping for more but got less in return. To me this is a watch once and forget it movie.

The plot was so so, minimal acting and movie was a little long for what you get out of it

Unfortunately, much of this film is predictable with obvious direction.

Okay action film. Plot felt a bit contrived and re-used.

My daughter recommended the film "Prisoners" to me, and I enjoyed it from start to finish. Each character is perfectly cast - in particular, Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal. Their interpretations of Keller Dover and Loki respectively warranted Oscar nominations, if not Honors outright. Melissa Leo is equally fantastic. Denis Villeneuve obviously had a clear vision of the final product, and that translates into every frame. Highly recommended!

Jake Gyllenhaal and Hugh Jackmans performances were outstanding! The plot, the writing, the little twists were amazing! This movie feels so real when watching it you wont want to pause it. It's very emotional the intensity of it the fear off it... you can feel the pain and anger both Jake and Hugh felt. Definitely one of the best movies I have ever watched. It's a movie you have to own. The only thing that I wish it had was a 3d version of it. But the movie is absolutely incredible in everyway!

This movie put a new twist on an unfortunate incident. Showed how far a parent will go when the agencies designed to protect them won't. Very good storyline and wonderful ending. This movie is a perfect teaching tool to show young kids to pay attention to their surrounds and to watch out for their younger siblings. This isn't the 70s, people are truly crazy.

I had heard nothing but great things about this movie and decided to buy it and see what all the hype was about. It definitely lived up to its hype and more! Terrific performances and a thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat until the very end. Highly recommended to all!

Casting is wonderful. Hugh Jackman, Terrance Howard and Jake Gyllenhaal did a great job of making you feel the story. From start to end, it made me feel for the father and little girl. Good suspense film I have seen in a while.

A must see thriller with an unsuspecting ending that can be enjoyed multiple times.

This movie was a pleasant surprise. I didn't know what to expect prior to viewing and was more than happy with the outcome. Loved the surprise ending!

Hugh Jackman is incredible in this movie. It shows just how far someone will go to get their child back.

A fantastic thriller that kept you guessing the whole time, the actors were great, I highly reccomend this film on bluray!
