I like this item. Tired of using 2 slides of bread. With this item with 4 slides of bread it’s Much better. I’m very happy with this item. Thanks

I don't have much luck with toasters, and my husband was complaining that our current toaster (which we have had for about 3 years) did not toast the bread completely. So, when Best Buy gave me a $10.00 gift certificate, I decided to use it toward the purchase of another toaster. I chose the Black Proctor Silex - Wide-Slot 4 Slice Toaster. It is easy to operate - there is only one dial. Just select the number that will give you the desired light/dark toast that you prefer. This takes a time or two to get it just right. In the center of the dial there is a button to push to cancel, if you think you would prefer to change your light/dark choice. The opening automatically adjusts to the size of bread/bagel you are toasting - Very simple. The black finish wipes clean with a damp cloth - no messy fingerprints that come with stainless steel finish.

This Toaster may not be top of the line but it works great for me. I like it.

I've not used this w/ >2 setting because it seems to over toast my bread. Love the pullout crumb tray to get all those crumbs out. Works well w/ thick slices & bagels due to wider slot. Only complain I have is the toast boost doesn't 'boost' the slice enough to be pulled by hand.

Very good product. Wish it had a bagel setting but that's my fault.

It's a toaster & it's good at toasting bread! I like the easy pull-out trays to get rid of crumbs. I do not like that the only way to "pop" the toast manually is to unplug it. That's the only reason it did not get 5 stars.
