Customers highly value the Carbon TL Treadmill for its budget-friendly price point, user-friendly design, quiet operation, and durable construction. While some users found the assembly process challenging, many appreciate that the treadmill can be used without an iFit subscription.

Yes, this is not a professional runners treadmill, but it isn’t a cheap, disposable, built only for walking treadmill either. I am a 6’, 205lb man that has been running for six months in the gym before deciding to get my own treadmill. This machine holds up well to my running, is very stable, and feel it will last me a few years before I decided to upgrade.
As for the iFIT function, I figured I wouldn’t use it (and it is absolutely possible to use this piece of equipment without a subscription), but I took advantage of the one month free trial and have decided to continue with my paid subscription. I don’t know for how long, but it is so nice having the machine adjust the speed and incline automatically. You pick the trainer and program you want to use and off you go.
I put the treadmill together by myself. It took a few hours because 1) having an extra set of hands would help, 2) although instructions are fairly clear, you need to make sure you follow it exactly. I put a longer bolt into a hole because I wasn’t paying great attention to detail and it took a while for me to get it out without undoing what I had already built, 3) I had a four month old puppy wanting to help which isn’t conducive to speed.
I feel if you do get this treadmill that you will be pleasantly pleased as I am. Plenty of running space (width and length), solid construction, and good features.
The delivery service was just as nice. It arrived on time and two guys carried it into my house and into the room of choice. I advise you get it delivered rather than picking it up due to the large package size and overall heft!

So far the Proform Carbon TL Treadmill seems to be a good entry level option. Once you skip the 'mandatory' subscription service to get to the manual workout options, everything seems to work well. Assembly was fairly easy although a little trying at times with some hard to reach fastener locations leaving the question of 'Why would they do it that way?!' more than once. Once it's all together the unit seems fairly easy to move around if needed. If you are using this unit on softer floors such as original Heart Pine floors in 100+ year old homes you will want to use a mat or something under the wheels as they are small and will leave tracks wherever they travel.

Got it 1 year ago, still great, nothing wrong. iFit subscription NOT required. I got the 5 year protection plan because I know treadmills eventually break. I use it as much as possible, so that it breaks within those 5 years and get a new replacement.

Haven’t had any issues yet. Did have to realign the belt once but nothing major. Easy to raise and lower. Using almost every day (2 people), getting ready for a 3K & marathon :)

It’s a great treadmill but very difficult to adjust the belt. For the money it is very good though. My only complaint is with the belt, It took me about a week to get this thing adjusted. They say not to tighten it to much but it slips if you don’t, they say you don’t need grease but it slides side to side if you don’t. My other pro form treadmill was not this difficult to adjust, my other one actually came adjusted already

Great treadmill. Have had it close to a year, and use it to walk daily on an incline. On occasion the incline will start automatically then decline. But otherwise i am happy with it.

I was happy with it and the installers did a great job. After 7 months it stopped working. I had it picked up for a return and was disappointed that it stopped working. Best Buy has written up a refund which I have yet to see however I am assuming that takes some time to process. I am going to look into getting another one soon.
