Just bought this today for our 4&1 yr olds room and soon to be newborns room. When i first set it up i loved the picture. Fast forward to bed time and the infrared vision is HORRIBLE ! You can't see anything ! Needless to say we will be returning it for a different system . If you dont need the camera for the infrared then this is a very nice system to use. The sound is clear and the picture is very nice. But I also didnt like how there is a limited range to turn the camera when hanging it on the wall . the only way i would be able to hang it and cover the space i needed would be to have the picture upside down .

At first we really loved the monitor, unfortunately though we’ve found some things that we didn’t like (as personal preference) and we’ve also had some technical problems. The biggest technical problem is that the monitor screen after a while started glitching to where it’s “dead” even though it’s in the charger and I see the battery loading when it’s charged. The battery life on the video monitor also doesn’t last very long so if it’s not plugged in overnight I can’t hear when my child wakes up in the morning. It’s also very difficult to maneuver the cameras to the angle that you want so you can’t always get a full view of the crib (especially if you have to be very conscious of where the cords are because you have an active and curious child like I do!) The personal preferences we’ve found we’ll be looking for with out next one is a rechargeable camera, because our child since 8 months has walked and been curious with cords. And for a camera that can also be moved, panned, and tilted from the monitor to allow us a better view. And finally, a monitor screen that can hold a charge and is more reliable. Not terrible, but I wouldn’t pay the price for this quality of an item.

The longer I've had this system the more disappointed I am. I would have purchased another system if I'd have known the following: the battery life on the monitor is an hour tops, the charging cord has to sit perfectly in order to charge and when you select the lullabies to play, it is so loud on the monitor that you can no longer hear the baby. I have to wait for baby to fall asleep before I fall asleep because I have to turn the music off or I won't hear her cry overnight.

This monitor interrupted our sleep more than the baby did. It often shorted out unexpectedly with a loud POP. The cord (which was always loose) would slip out and then the low battery alert would blare in the middle of the night. This unit slowly became our worst nightmare. On bad days we couldn’t get it to stay on at all. I don’t know why we put up with it for so long.

It WAS great but only had it for a month and completely stopped working...VERY DISAPPOINTED ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE

I got this as a baby shower gift,when we were expecting our twins. This parent unit just shuts off on its own for no reason. My babies are not even 3 months old and the thing will be plugged in by my bed charging and will just cut off. So if I’m sleeping I won’t hear my babies cry. I called the project nursery customer service and they were rude and not helpful.

Purchased tonight and will be returning first thing in the a.m. The day time (color) view is fantastic, the night vision doesn't allow you to see anything. You can't make out the baby in the crib. Very frustrated and will be returning the set tomorrow a.m.
